ALEXANDER MAYHEW
I am a professional Footwear Designer located in Portland, OR. Currently working for HOKA, I have previously designed for Crocs, am an alumni of Pensole and have an Industrial Design bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. With a passion for lifestyle footwear, apparel, art, and creating, I’m strongly versed in a variety of design focuses. I aim to bring strong storytelling to life from concept to commercialization in every project. Within my career, I’ve gained experience designing footwear for Lifestyle, Outdoors, Collaborations, Fashion, Sport, Work and Innovation. I believe extensive consumer focus, global marketplace travel, research, and adaptability leads to successful design. Inspiration comes in all forms and for myself learning, exploring, snowboarding, hiking, traveling, and shopping keep me energized, optimistic and passionate as a creative.
